We keep receipts on politicians. We keep them on ourselves too. If we get something wrong, we fix it in public and log it here.
How to report an error
Email hello@wepublican.us with:
- the page link,
- what’s wrong, and
- a source that shows the correct information, if you have one.
We read every report. Anyone can report, and you don’t need to agree with us politically.
How fast we fix
- Acknowledge: within 2 business days.
- Fix confirmed factual errors: within 2 business days of confirming them.
- Disputed claims: if a report raises a real question we can’t settle quickly, we add a note on the page saying it’s under review until we resolve it.
How we correct
- We fix the error on the page and add a dated note at the bottom of that page explaining what changed.
- We never quietly edit a quote, a vote, or a number.
- Typos and formatting fixes that don’t change meaning are fixed without a log entry.
- Every significant correction is listed below, newest first.
