Elections

Pick an office, then a state, then a race. Every candidate in a race we track gets the same questionnaire, built on our bridge issues, and a scorecard that shows their answers and public record side by side with sources and dates. We don't endorse anyone. How scorecards work.

The Top 10

WePublican's Top 10 runs in each chamber: the 10 most competitive U.S. Senate races of 2026 and our pick of 10 of the most competitive U.S. House races. Every candidate on the ballot in these races gets the same questionnaire, due Oct 28. We publish what they send, word for word, and show plainly who has answered and who hasn't yet. This is our first run, and we'll report what we learned after Nov 3. We don't endorse anyone.

House Top 10

Our pick of the most competitive U.S. House races: 10 races the Cook Political Report rates Toss-up. Listed by state, not ranked.

How we chose them. Senate: we scored each race's rating from the Cook Political Report (Oct 6), Sabato's Crystal Ball (Oct 14) and Inside Elections (Oct 15) as Toss-up 0, Tilt 0.5, Lean 1, Likely 2, Solid 3, added the three, and ranked lowest first. Ties go to the closer polling average (PolitiKool, Oct 18). House: about 20 seats are rated Toss-up, so no strict top 10 exists. We picked 10 of the Cook Political Report's Toss-ups (Oct 16) that Sabato and Inside Elections also rate Toss-up or Tilt, with a mix of seats held by each party. Ratings change; we list the dates we used.
